Background scenery adds a nice effect
to a model railway and as I like sun, sea and sand I decided to
create my own. I found a panoramic picture with a view of the sea and
after some editing created the scene below.
I then divided it up into 6 parts and
rotated each picture to be able to print it out easily. Stretching
the image to almost the edge of the paper gives you a border image of
4 to 5 inches high and the length of an A4 sheet of paper times 6
images. I numbered each image to keep them in order. Cutting off the
white areas, I then pasted my image to the surrounding wooden edge on
my railway. I found I needed a little more, so I reversed all the
images so that number 6 would match up with my original number 6 and
so on. Here are the images below if you'd like to use them (right
